Ritual Wooden Pipe Painted

Betzon Macahuachi was born in Pucallpa (Peru) in 1977. In the age of 20 years old he was initiated to the sacred medicine of Ayahuasca by healers close to his family and he’s been following the path of medicine ever since. Master plants taught him through multiple visionary experiences how to express his art and share his visions. As sacred chants is one way for shamans to manifest the plants medicine in order to reach people’s minds and hearts, Betzon’s sculptures and visionary art in general can help us to connect with our true nature through mediums representing spirits such as totem animals and master plants.

Walter Tamani Arirama was born in Pucallpa. Very young he was initiated by his father to the spiritual world of plants. These spiritual encounters became a trigger opening his curiosity for visionary experiences and his will of drawing it.  He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Pucallpa. Meanwhile he followed and is still following his path of learning with spiritual plants through the traditional amazonian medicine with great respect and profound humility. His art traces his spiritual journeys, his love for the surrounding nature and his desire to make known to the public the unsuspected wealth of learning plants.
